Supplemental European Union Privacy Policy

Supplemental Privacy Policy for persons located in the European Union (“EU”), a European Economic Area (“EEA”) member state, Great Britain or Switzerland.

 
This section of our Privacy Policy contains information for persons located in the European Union (“EU”), a European Economic Area (“EEA”) member state, Great Britain or Switzerland.  The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform customers of Purecise Clean LLC (“Purecise Clean”, “Company”, “we”, “us” or “our”) or any of its Affiliates, including this website, purecise.com (the “Site” or “Purecise Clean Sites”) about how the Company uses their data and what rights they have under the GDPR regarding this data. The type of customer data processed and used by the Company depends on the business relationship between the Company and each individual customer. Before we collect any PII from you, you are entitled under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), to the information in this section of our Privacy Policy.    

Introduction

  1. The General Data Protection Regulation “GDPR” (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) came into force on 25th May 2018.
  2. As a data processor, as described in the regulation, the Company has a responsibility to inform our customers and business partners of the data we hold and how we store and use that data.
  3. We respect your privacy, and we are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy notice will apply to our customers and vendors, business contacts and website visitors, and will inform you how we look after your personal data and tell you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.
  4. This Supplemental Privacy Notice is in addition to any previously applicable Privacy Policy Notice, and or terms and conditions relating to business with the Company.
  5. Purposes and Legal Bases for Processing Personal Identifiable Information (“PII” or “personal data”)

We collect personally identifiable information (“PII”) to provide our products and services to you; otherwise, we may not be able to process the transactions you request.  We will only process your PII when we have a lawful basis for doing so.  We may also seek your prior consent or rely on some other lawful basis to process your PII. If and insofar as you have given us your consent for advertising purposes, e.g. you have signed up to the e-mail newsletter, the data processing required in the context of establishing contact takes place on the legal basis of Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR (hereinafter referred to as "Consent"). You may revoke your consent to us at any time with effect for the future (e.g. by using the unsubscribe link included in the e-mail). It might be possible that commercial communication will be provided through our external service providers. These service providers act as instruction-bound processors for us

As a company that is pursuing the creation and sale of on new, innovative, cleaning products that are simple and safe to use, we may sometimes need to process your data to pursue our legitimate business interests, for example; to share with you our new products, sales, promotions, newsletters and event, to prevent fraud, for administrative purposes or reporting potential crimes. We will never process your data where these interests are overridden by your own interests.
  2. We also collect information from other sources. To the extent we combine third party sourced information with information we have collected through our Services, we will treat the combined information in accordance with the practices described in this Privacy Policy, plus any additional restrictions imposed by the source of the data. These categories of sources vary over time, but have included: 

Social networks, when you engage with our content, reference our services, or grant us permission to access information from the social networks.

Partners, that offer co-branded services, sell or distribute our products, or engage in joint marketing activities.

  1. Where we are processing data based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. If you had an existing business relationship with us (prior to 25th May 2018), we are assuming that you have provided consent.   2. We will only disclose information about you to third parties if we are legally obliged to do so or where we need to comply with our contractual duties to you (i.e. if you have instructed us to disclose such information or have consented for us to do so).

PII that you provide while in the EU, an EEA member state, Great Britain or Switzerland will be transferred to the United States.  The GDPR permits such transfer when necessary if we obtain your explicit consent to such transfer, or if it is in our legitimate interest to transfer the PII.  The laws in the United States may not be as protective of your privacy as those in your location.  If we transfer PII from the EU, we will provide an appropriate safeguard such as binding corporate rules, standard contractual clauses, Privacy Shield, or your consent.   
  4. Your personal data will be stored for the period of our business relationship, except where the right to be forgotten has been invoked or where we are no longer legally obliged to store the data.
  5. If in the future we intend to process your personal data for a purpose other than that which it was collected we will provide you with information on that purpose and any other relevant information.

Your rights

  1. Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have a number of rights with regard to your personal data. You have the right to:

  • Rectification of your personal data
  • Erasure of your personal data (including the right to be forgotten)
  • Restrict or object to processing of your personal data
  • Object to processing of your personal data
  • Data portability.
  • Withdraw consent at any time (which will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before your consent was withdrawn).
  • Lodge a complaint to the Information Commissioners’ Office if you believe that we have not complied with the requirements of the GDPR with regard to your personal data.
